This story explores the possibility that Shakespeare didn't really write his plays and poems. There does seem to be the possibility that this is so. Shakespeare's parents were illiterate, so it seems more logical that he himself was. That being said, its not totally impossible that Shakespeare knew how to write.
Theres also the possibility that a noble hired him to put his name to the plays. During that time, it wouldn't have been possible for a noble to write (their reputation). The fact is, theres no proof one way or another. We can't say for certain that Shakespeare wrote his plays, but we can't say for certain that he didn't, either. It really is simply a matter of opinion.
It is so odd that after all these years this theory is just now being made known. I wish there were more facts for us to know. It is very had to make an opinion.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that Shakespeare could have beent he one to write it, I think they could tell if they would go and look at other accounts of the time and try to find out more about how he acted, because I highly doubt that Shakespeare was as cocky as he was in the movie.
ReplyDeleteWhether Shakespeare was real or not, his plays are. And we all know who Shakespeare copied his works from, the greeks! Think about it, the movie wouldn't even exist without the greek tragites.
ReplyDeleteHey, most famous dudes never did the great things that they were credited of doing. Think of men like Disney, Einstein, or even Bill Gates. These guys did NOTHING yet will be rememebered for things that they never did or were a part of... But hey, what's new?
ReplyDeleteWhats your opinion on this? Just curious.
ReplyDeleteShakespeare will always be the way that takes the credit no matter what really happened.
